Lights-Out Kit

The Lights-Out Kit is a remote power management solution designed to ensure the operability of MATT ecosystem in facilities with zero human operators. It features a software platform for over the ethernet control (start-up, shutdown) and a complete recovery procedure in case of power outages.

The components are connected as in the diagram shown and include :

• 1 KVM Switch
• 1 Power Extension Cord with LAN connectivity
• up to 3 Type-A to Type-C USB Adapters (depending on computer ports)
• 1 Ethernet Cable
• 1 Type-C Gigabit Ethernet Adapter (optional)

The power cord features 3 electrical sockets (EU or UK type) that can be individually switched on or off through the web interface. 

The setup was tested with a DELL XPS 17, HP Pavilion 16, MacBook Air 13 and a ASUS TUF Gaming 15 running Ubuntu 20.04LTS, but it is aimed to be compatible with most computer configurations.
